CUSTOM PORTRAIT
Painting a portrait is a fun
process. I welcome the opportunity to do a
portrait of you or your loved one.
I prefer to work from life by natural light in my studio. Sittings are usually
three hours per session, while every portrait is different and the standard
number of sittings is usually three or four.
Every portrait is different. Decisions on location and dates for portrait
sittings are mutually agreed upon based our schedules. The clothing and
background are chosen together before the first sitting.
Should I be required to travel to another location my expenses are the
responsibility of the patron. Framing of the painting is important and mutually
agreed upon. The framing expense is to be paid by the buyer.
PORTRAIT RATES:
Head & Shoulders $1400
Half Figure with Hands $1600
Three-Quarter Figure $2000
Full Figure $2500
Extra Figures or especially complex backgrounds will require additional time and
expense.
After a commission is agreed upon, a contract is sent to the buyer specifying
the above terms. A fifty percent, non-refundable deposit is paid before work
commences, the balance is to be paid at the completion.
